She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wilroy and Louise Carlton Fletcher; her husband Eugene Clements West, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Miller, Jasper Fletcher, Nelson Fletcher, James Fletcher and Wilber Fletcher.
She is survived by: her children, Debra West, Sharon Johnson (Robert) and Eugene West (Robin); her grandchildren, Jonathan Rivers, James Ferrell, Daniel West, Dietrich Johnson and Courtney Johnson; and her sister Fay Burris (Raymond). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
