She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cecil and Mildred King Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Mitchem; her sons, Randy Carmine and Bill Carmine (Melanie Hicks); her stepchildren, Melanie Danforth (Adrin McFerrin) and Steve Mitchem (Jessica); her aunt Evelyn King; and her grandchildren, Alex Carmine, Stephen Danforth (Michelle), Justin Danforth (Haley), Tyler Danforth, Zachary Danforth, Jeremy Mitchem and Marisa Mitchem. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
