It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Kenneth Truffer of Hartfield, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Anne Wurzbacher Truffer; and his parents, Joseph August and Winifred Cole Truffer. He is survived by: his children, Mary Jane Standley (Billy Standley) of Henrico, VA, Nancy Ellen Wright (J. C. Wright) of Annapolis, MD, Edward Kenneth Truffer, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA and Susan Elizabeth Boehling (Paul Boehling) of Raleigh, NC; and his sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Guercio of Glen Burnie, MD and Patricia A. "Pat" Ozborn of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
