Virginia Frances (Whitmore) Plecker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Frances (Whitmore) Plecker of Harrisonburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos McKinley Whitmore and Minnie Mitchell Whitmore; her husband Robert E. Plecker; and her siblings, John Whitmore and Helen Diehl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Sease (Robert, Jr.) of Harrisonburg and Peg Twitty; and her grandchildren, Angela Watson (Curtis), Sara Corder (Micah), Justin Sease (Anna), William Sease (Emily) and Andrew Sease (Luisa).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meredith Chapel - Sunnyside Retirement Community (3935 Sunnyside Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
