He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lynn and Pauline Cecil Tiller; his son Steven Keith Tiller; and his brother Harry Tiller. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Tiller of Longview, Texas and Patricia Tiller; his daughter-in-law Amber Mathias Tiller of Broadway, Virginia; and his grandsons, Sean Tiller and Nathan Tiller.
