She is survived by: her parents, Virgil Eugene Simmons and Edith Jane Simmons of Dayton; her children, Melissa Moore of Petersburg, Alisha Sly (Triston) of Dayton and Cody Whitesel of Dayton; her stepson Ryan Whitesel (Ashley) of Stuarts Draft; her brother Gary Simmons (Pennie) of Dayton; her grandchildren, Aisley, Cambrie, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Madison, Aubrey, Layla, Quinn, Samuel, Avery, Rylee and Kasen; her great grandchild Azariah; and her close friend Terri Nesselrodt (Tony) of Rockingham.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home (5784 Greenmount Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
