We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sara Hartzler of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Belleville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Samuel and Sadie Zelda Peachey; her husband Lester Thomas Hartzler; and her siblings, Samuel Peachey, Catherine Weaver and Lee Peachey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Kaye Hartzler of Ponte Vedra, FL and Sheri Ann Hartzler Smucker (David); her siblings, Louis Peachey (Ann) of Belleville, PA, Charity Schober of Lebanon, OH, Ann McCarthy of Huntersville, NC, James Peachey (April) of Pottsville, PA and Iva Portlock (Kelly) of Jones, OK; and her grandchildren, Olivia Smucker, Aaron Smucker, Natalie Smucker, Elizabeth Corrao, Philip Corrao and Caroline Corrao. She is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Community Mennonite Church (70 S High St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
