It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Whitmer Lineweaver of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert B. Whitmer, Jr. and Louise Whitmer (Cash); and her sisters, Rebecca Aiba and Sarah Foster. She is survived by: her sons, Will Lineweaver (Claudia) of Crozet and Brian Lineweaver (Kerrie) of Falls Church; her brother-in-law John Foster of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Price, Jay, Bennie, Drew, Carter and Sydney; her nieces, Sarah, Katherine and Joy; and her nephew Bruce.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgewater Retirement Community (302 N. 2nd Street, Bridgewater, VA 22812) or First Presbyterian Church (17 Court Square, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
