Kaufman of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Hershberger and Linnie Hershberger (Thomas); her son Lynn Douglas; her siblings, Nora, Erie and Boyd; and her husband Rev. Marvin L. Kaufman.
She is survived by: her children, LaVonne (Joseph Martin) of Harrisonburg, VA, Lori (Edward S. Gant, Jr.) of Harrisonburg, VA and Marci (Daryl Myers) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Holly Martin (Farid Javidpour), Andrew Martin (Nichole), Kelly Trease, Kate Patrick (Hayes), David Martin, Becky Allen (Seth), Sarah Gant, Anna Morgan (C. J.), Jessica Fitzgerald (Eric), Kristen Berkey (Seth) and Emily Suttles (Seth); and her great grandchildren, Norman Martin, Vivienne Martin, Irene Javidpour, Levi Gant, Isaiah Allen, Jackson Fitzgerald, Asher Fitzgerald, Wells Berkey, Quinn Suttles and Cole Suttles.
