He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Vernon, Sr. and Ella Pearl Stover Meyerhoeffer; his siblings, Milford Vernon Meyerhoeffer, Jr. and Nancy Lee Meadows; and his grandson Preston James Emswiler.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol Nesselrodt Meyerhoeffer; his children, Jerry W. Meyerhoeffer (Melissa) and Dawn Michelle Emswiler (James); his grandchildren, Kayla, Leah Emswiler and Ethan Meyerhoeffer; his siblings-in-law, Dale Nesselrodt and Sandra McDorman; and also, Robert and Pauline Newton of Centerburg, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity close to your heart.
