It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Edwin Hodge of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lee and Nina Elizabeth Hodge (Williams); his wife Lois Jane Hodge (Maynard); and his siblings, Emerson Lee Hodge, Leona Hall, Clotiele Belveal and Doris Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa (Gary Klimovich), DeAnna (Harry Clayton) and Orquida (Dan Ingraham); and his grandchildren, Adam, Jonathon and Laura Clayton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested a donation to the Tunnel to Towers or any other charity supporting Veterans or law enforcement charities.
