It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pierce Edward Davidson of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "Pete" Davidson and Ruth Mae Kinder Davidson; his wife Evelyn Fae Mutter Davidson; his stepmother Nannie Lou Belcher Davidson; his brothers, John, Jack, Allen and Walt Davidson; his brother-in-law Allen Lawson (Robert "June" Amburgy); his sisters, Lucy Lawson, Lena Amburgy, Cora Long and Margaret "Susie" Robinette; and his sister-in-law Rosieta Davidson.
He is survived by: his daughter Terry Lynn Davidson Humphries (Kevin) of Harrisonburg, VA; his granddaughter Kimberly Hess of Harrisonburg; his great grandchildren, Kendal, Reagan, David and Sydney Burgess of Harrisonburg, VA; his granddaughter Jennifer Matthias (Drew) of Lexington, KY.; his brothers, Roy "Bill" Davidson of Princeton, WV and Douglas "Gene" Davidson; and his siblings-in-law, Hughie Horton Long of Heritage Hall, John "Jay" Robinette of Clemmons, NC and Jean Davidson of Tazewell, VA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home, Inc. (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
