She was predeceased by: her husband Mertin D. "Doug" Philpott; and her parents, Charley Raymond "Ray" Herring and Flora Evaleen "Eva" Custer Herring. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy A. Sedwick; her son-in-law Richard E. N. "Dickie" Sedwick; her grandson Richard W. Sedwick (Heather); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Elliott, Vivian and Henry; her brother Otis F. Herring; her daughter Virginia; her close friends, Betty, Gloria, Margie and Dee; and her friends, Nena, Roger, Sis, Ed and Judy.
