Mark E. Geherin Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mark E. Geherin in Harrisonburg, Virginia, whose life came to an end on April 19, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Gloria Geherin (Gilbert); and his sister Ann Scanlan. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Geherin (Corry); his children, Christiaan Militello (Toni), Ali Carbonaro (Patrick) and Cortney Fedyshyn (Michael); his siblings, Christopher Geherin (Kathleen), Thomas Geherin (Melissa) and Jean Baraczek (Jack); his brother-in-law John Scanlan; and his grandchildren, Alexa, Charlie, Isabella, Lyla and Christiaan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (90 Melrose Rd, Auburn, NY 13021). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark's memory may be made to Breakthrough T1D (http://www.breakthrought1d.org), an organization dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
