She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Geneva Lam Dovel of Harrisonburg; her daughter Emily Stroop (Christopher); her granddaughters, Sophia Ann Stroop and Olivia Grace Stroop; her sister Pamela Monger; her niece Lindsey Monger; and her great-nephew Jaxon Strother. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
