She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shoemaker and Ida Mae Shoemaker Keeler; her sister Eva Shoemaker; and her grandmother Mary Ray Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Lee McDorman Jr.; her daughter Cheryl McDorman; her sister Frances Meadows (Buck); her stepfather Stanley Keeler; her niece Eva Meadows; and her nephew Larry "Scooter" Meadows.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home (5784 Greenmount Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
