She was predeceased by: her son William. She is survived by: her husband Lowell David Burtner; and her children, James Burtner, Julie Burtner Kane, Virginia Burtner Haywood and Michael Burtner. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
