He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi J. Shenk and Amanda Yoder Shenk; his wife Evelyn Landis Shenk; and his siblings, Mabel, Wilmer, Lester, Mary Florence, Margaret and Mildred.
He is survived by: his sisters, Miriam Baer and Martha Godshall; his children, Gloria (Tony Worme) of Mount Joy, PA, Jonathan (Sheryl Longacre) of Harrisonburg, VA, James (Juliana Marquez) of San Diego, CA and Joseph of Denver, PA.; his grandchildren, James Paul Kniss (Jonathan), Suzanne Pozzo (Dan), David, Brian, Jim, Briana and Noah; and also, Coralie, Luca and Vivienne Pozzo.
