He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Mongold and Ava Burkholder Mongold; his sister Margaret Cassidy; and his aunt Ivy Painter. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Mello (Michael) of Harrisonburg and Brandy Stone (Daniel) of Harrisonburg; the parent of his children Leslie Bailey; his sons, Jacob and Jonathan Mongold; the mother of his children Brandy Dimick; his grandchildren, Morgan, Connor, Cassidy and Cameron; his niece Claudine Bevan; and his great-niece Brittany Bevan of Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his daughter Christine Mello's Venmo account, @teenymello, to assist with expenses.
