The passing of Jimmy Dean Russell of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Altus, Oklahoma leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 77. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Letha Wright Thompson and Roy L. Russell; and his siblings, Gary Lynn, Randy Dale and Dianna Gale.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jeanne Danton; his children, Jamie Kysar (Darren) of Norman, OK, Christopher Russell (Krista) of Rockingham, VA, Kevin Russell (Dia) of Rockingham, VA and Kelly Welsh (Logan) of Leesburg, VA; his grandchildren, Abby, Dawson, Marley, River, Ayla, Chloe, Mason, Regan, Alex and Keith; and his great grandchildren, Candice and Summer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
