He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Eckard; and his brother Bernard Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Taylor of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Nikki Thompson (Patrick) and Jeff Taylor (Christin); his great grandchildren, Lane Thompson, Vincent Taylor, Jace Thompson and Mia Taylor; and his siblings, Steven Day (Maryanne Skelton), Judy Charlton (Donnie), David Day and Linda Reese. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
