It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Young Hylton (Harrisonburg, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold W. Young and Mary McCoy Young; and her brother-in-law Dr. Paul Hampton Hylton, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ronald I. Hylton; her children, Kenneth Scott Gordon (Jacki), David M. Hylton (Amy) and Jennifer Hylton Quade; her grandchildren, Megan, Darby Gordon, Evan (Andrea), Brandon, Ryan Hylton, Kendall and Sean Quade; her brothers, Harold J. Young (Evelyn) and Keith W. Young (Janet); and her sister-in-law Judy W. Hylton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
