It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas Blizzard of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gifford Blizzard and Virginia Cooper Blizzard; his wife Martha Blizzard; and his daughter Tammy Blizzard. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa McIntyre (David) of Bridgewater; his granddaughter Taylor Whetzel (Aaron) of Bridgewater; his great grandchildren, Faith, Kayden and Kolt; his brother Joseph Blizzard (Linda); his niece Shannon Blizzard (Marko) of Long Island, NY; and the mother of his children Loretta Cromer of Harrisonburg.
