She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Barber and Catherine Watson Barber; her grandchild Latrice Davis; her former husband Kenneth Strother; and her siblings, Loretta Morgan, Matthew Barber, Jr., Etta Byrd and Felicia Holly.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Barber of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Michael Smith, Vanessa Short, Dwayne Perry, Tiffany Short, Brittany Short and Markes Davis; and her siblings, Godwin Barber, Gwendolyn Rivers and Lonnie Simmons.
