He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Miller and Bytha White Miller; and his brother Howard Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jeannie S. Wise (Steve) of St. Matthews, SC and Bart E. Smith (Anne Mulvihill) of Buxton, NC; his grandchildren, Brad Wise (Jessica) of St. Matthews, SC and Brandy Hallman (Jamie) of Orangeburg, SC; his great grandchildren, Dalton Wise, Austin Wise, Waylon Wise and Ashton Hallman; his great great grandchild Xander Wise; his sister-in-law Charlotte B. Smith; and the mother of his children Joyce Gail Smoke of St. Matthews, SC.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
