With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Rose Coakley of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Mount Crawford, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Switzer and Mildred Bell Shifflett Whitesell; and her sister Joyce Sharp. She is survived by: her husband Winston Keith Coakley; her children, Angela Harper (Shane) of Port Republic and Brian Coakley (Lisa) of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Kevin Conrad, Brittany Hargray (Vernon), Autumn McCoy (Jacob), Julian Coakley and Adyn Harper; and her great grandchildren, Marlo Hargray and Oliver McCoy.
