It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances Shifflett (Harrisonburg, Virginia), who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Ida Ann Coley Price; her husband Howard "Pete" Lee Shifflett; and her siblings, Alma Early, Margaret Earman, Juanita Dovel, Graham Price and William Price.
She is survived by: her children, Howard "Pete" Lee Shifflett II (Marcy) of Harrisonburg, Vicki Ann Clinedinst May of Fishersville and Stephen Edward Shifflett (Cynthia) of Rockingham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren (two to be born soon); nine great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces.
A reception was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home Inc (5784 Greenmount Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 1525 Cecil Wampler Road, Mt. Crawford, VA 22841.
