With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie Mae Harner Brunk (Harrisonburg, Virginia), born in Waynesboro, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy H. Harner and Margaret Weaver Harner; her sister Joann Harner Godshall; and her brothers-in-law, Abram Godshall and Dennis Swartz.
She is survived by: her husband Harry A. Brunk, Jr.; her children, Brian P. Brunk (Susan), Marcia B. Lexa (Jonathan), Harry A. Brunk III (Crystal) and Pamela B. Fahndrich (Timothy); her sister Louise Swartz; and her stepsiblings, Arden R. Harner, David A. Harner, Michael R. Harner and Gloria A. Beavers.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made payable to Elsie H. Brunk Memorial Fund and mailed to Park View Federal Credit Union, 1675 Virginia Ave Harrisonburg, VA 22802.
