It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Alan Reser of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard F. Reser and Ruth Reser (Biddle). He is survived by: his wife Janet Esther Brockhoff; his children, Cynthia Smoker (LeVon) of Harrisonburg, VA and David W. Reser (Brianne) of Bristol, IN; his brother Richard R. Reser of Monroeville, OH; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Smoker (Jillian), Alexander Reser, Gabrielle Reser, Maci Hershberger, Makenna Worthman (Drew) and Jace Hershberger; and his great grandchildren, Josette Smoker and Saylah Worthman. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Massanutten Presbyterian Church (50 Indian Trail Rd, Penn Laird, VA 22846).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massanutten Presbyterian Church or Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
