He is survived by: his children, B. Franklin Salyards (Ann), Audrey Davis (Roy), Geneva Salyards, Michael Salyards (Denise), Kenneth Salyards and Lisa Strawderman (Roger); his half-brother Paul Stephen Salyards; and his grandchildren, Ann Marie, Bev, Michael, Krissy, Michelle and Travis. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
