With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audrey Bowman Eye of Harrisonburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Audrey Bowman is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Audrey Bowman's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey E. Bowman and Arline Chapman Bowman; and her husband Lester Dillon Eye. She is survived by: her children, Kay Corey (Doug Corey) of Fairfax Station, VA and Kenny Eye (Lisa Whitmer Eye) of Linville, VA; and her granddaughters, Rebecca Corey (Jesse Grabman) of Las Cruces, NM and Erin Corey of Washington, D. C..
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home (473 S Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
