It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Armentrout Cook of Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Armentrout and Helen Foltz Armentrout; her husband Edwin "Sam" Moore Cook; her daughter Victoria Roberts (Vickie); and her brothers, Walter Armentrout, Jr. and Gene Armentrout.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Edward Cook (Rosemary Paige Cook) of Falls Church, VA and Todd E. Cook (Wanda E. Cook) of Staunton, VA; her granddaughters, Amy Cook Hogan (Jeff), Jessica Roberts Eason (Dennis) and Ashley Marie Cook; and her niece Cynthia Armentrout Pierce. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren.
