It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Minnix Nelson of Hardy, Virginia, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Minnix and Lillie Minnix; her husband Roy Nelson; her stepson Roy Nelson (Chuck); and her siblings, Uldine Thomas and Herman Minnix.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Greer, Roger Greer (Sandra), Tony Greer (Peggy), Shelby LaPrad (David) and Mary Greer; her grandchildren, Michelle Basham, Amber Wright, Dustin Greer, Christian LaPrad, Joseph Smith and Macey Smith; and her sisters, Lois Gantt, Joyce Pruitt and Alice Pruitt. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
