It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Hudson of Hardy, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Hudson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Pritchett and Cordie Pritchett; her husband Arney Dalton Hudson; and her sisters, Margaret Mills (Curtis) and Irene Milam (Allen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Lefebvre (Ernie) and Janet Miller; her grandchildren, Adam Moses (Amanda), Aaron Moses (Karrie) and Anita Clark (Greg); and her stepdaughters, Willamena Simpkins (George), Donna Thompson (Ken) and Diana Early (Don). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church or Good Samaritan Hospice House.
