She was predeceased by: her father Robert Keep (Grace Keep). She is survived by: her husband Troy Keaton; her children, Natalie Bryan (Keith), Allyson Gumbiner (Nathan), TJ Keaton (Angeli) and Trever Keaton (Autumn); her mother Grace Keep; her brothers, Tim Keep (Becky) and Dave Keep (Julia); her caregiver Maggie Farmer; and also Janel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Janel Keaton scholarship fund at Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy.
