She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Barton and Mary Barton; and her siblings, Richard Barton and Lorene Musgrove. She is survived by: her husband Billy E. Oakes; her children, Maurice (Rita), Richard (Pam), Janet and Terry (Kim); and her sister-in-law Lillian Barton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
