With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel Noell of Hardy, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ethel leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton B. Wood and Sarah M. Wood. She is survived by: her son Ron Noell, Jr. (Tranacia Noell); her grandchildren, Taylor Noell, Connor Arris and Taylor Arris; and her friend Bill Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor and memory to Angels of Assisi, reflecting Ethel's love for the animals and their well-being.
