He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin Towler and Hilda Bryant Towler; his stepdaughter Michelle Hattan; his siblings, Horace Towler and June Shanaberger; and his great grandchild Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Minter Towler; his daughters, Lynn Dawson (Gregory) of Gretna and Andra Gibson (Andy) of Chatham; his grandchildren, Lindsey Davis (Kevin), Kelsey Hipp, Kayley Hipp (Garrett) and Kylee Hipp; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Logan, Bennett and Elvie.
