She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thornton and Mildred Thornton; her husband George William Sutherland; and her brother Donald Thornton Sr.. She is survived by: her niece Debbie Mallard (Thomas); her cousin Ginger Roman (Bob); and also Pratt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
