She was predeceased by: her parents, James Minnix and Lillie Hunley Minnix; her husband Clyde George Pruitt; and her son Jesse Roy Pruitt. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Pruitt (Nellie), David Pruitt, Joseph Pruitt (Teresa) and Rita Pruitt; her grandchildren, Amy Stovall (Brian), Brad Pruitt (Chris), Brandy Moon (Nick), Kimberly Pruitt, Jessie Akers (Tyler), Josh Taylor and Bobby Ramey; and her great great grandchild Lennyn Grayce. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount (12787 Booker T Washington Hwy #100, Hardy, VA 24101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Chapel (12787 Booker T Washington Hwy #100, Hardy, VA 24101).
