He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian; and his parents, Von Lovette and Inez Lovette. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Lovette and Wayne Lovette (Sheila); his grandchildren, Felicia Lovette, Shannon Corker (James) and Melissa Leigh (Rex); and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Haylee and Adaleigh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org.
