He was predeceased by: his parents, Sommerville Wickham Sr. and Elsie Wickham. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his son Shane Wickham (Debra); his grandchildren, Cody and Sadie Wickham; and his siblings, Sommerville Wickham Jr. (Margo) and Sharon (Ruble). He is also survived by four nieces; and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Virginia Police Work Dog Association.
