He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Ancarrow Moody; his children, Jay Moody, Scott Moody and Michelle Moody Henicheck (Chris); his grandchildren, John Michael Moody, Courtney Moody, Alyssa Henicheck, Lily Henicheck and Stephanie Moody; his great grandchild Amara; his sister Linda Crowe; and his nieces and nephews, H. D. Crowe, Melinda Byrd and Tracey Sparks.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Smith Point Sea Rescue.
