He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Robbins and Ellen Robbins; his brother Cecil Robbins; and his daughter LeAudrey Salmon. He is survived by: his wife Diane Chandler Robbins; his children, Roy Robbins and Tammy Robbins Swindells (Bill); his grandchildren, Olivia Swindells Harper (Matthew), Whitney Swindells Shook (Curtis), Amber Swindells Bonanno (Jake), Kirsten Swindells Hinnant, Julia Salmon, Junior Smith, Landon Hinnant, Sawyer Courtney, Lily Harper and Sophia Harper; and his sister Lilly Robbins King. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Ray's name to the Hanover County Volunteer Fire-EMS department.
