He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Meredith Turner (Mike) and Anne Turner Taylor. He is survived by: his brother Alfred W. Turner, Jr.; his wife Betty Carter Turner of Ashland, VA; his sister Jean Turner Basto of Winston-Salem, NC; his son Peatross Turner, III (Ric); his wife Linda Boles Turner; his children, Maria Turner Creel (David) and Bradley Turner (Marlynn Shelton Turner); and his grandchildren, Spencer Turner Bailey, Virginia Lynn Creel, Sally Preston Turner, David Norman Creel, Jr, Linda Meredith Turner (Edi), Lucille Grace Turner and Audrey Frances Turner.
