She is survived by: her husband Paul Gates; her daughter Lisa Gates Brunetti (Joseph Peter Brunetti III); her grandchildren, Joseph Peter Brunetti IV and Jordan Page Brunetti; and her siblings, Frank Thomas Evans, James Donald Evans, John Wayne Evans, Margaret Ann Evans and Ada Sue Humphries.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (3801 Augusta Ave, Richmond, VA 23230). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Signal Hill Memorial Park (12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069).
