He is survived by: his wife Sandra C. Johnson; his children, Carmen Thornton (Wayne), Latrice Carter (Kumar), Brandi Lancaster, Stefani Lancaster, Kimberli Howerton (Trevor) and Kenbert Johnson; and his cousin Dorothy "Lisa" Turner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
