It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Franklin Flannagan Jr. of Hanover, Virginia, who passed away on February 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest F. Flannagan Sr. and Myrtle; his wife Ella Joyce Flannagan; and his siblings, William Sr. "Billy", Walter and Virginia.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Flannagan (Melvin); his grandchild Cierra Cook; his daughter Angela F. Richards (Garland); his grandson Brock A. (Emma); his children, Ernest III (June) and Jeremey R.; his grandchildren, Jacob A., Emily L., Christopher B. and Lillian M.; his siblings, John Flannagan (Frances), Clyde Flannagan and Arline Massey; his nieces and nephews, Sonya, Anita, Carolyn, Linda, Sherie, Donnie (Julie), Billy Jr., Danny, Keith (Darwin) and Craig (Christy); his cousin Hollins (Kathy); and also, David Mann, Jim Poole and Roy Richards (Anita). He is also survived by his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hanover Christmas Mother and/or Prospect Methodist Church.
