He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Mae Davis; his parents, Edgar Colin Cooper Woods Sr. and Mary Garnett Stark; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Woods; and his siblings, Brooke Frautschi and Michael Campbell Woods.
He is survived by: his children, Cooper Woods (Pat) of Hanover, Patsy Loving (Lenny) of Urbanna and Becky Peters (Ken) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Amy Slier (Mike), Colin Campbell (Tesi), Ashley Clapp (Michael), Tracy Woods, Nicole Simkin (Will), Elizabeth McCray (Matt), Mary Peters (Brandon), Emily Butler (Miles), Jessica Woods, John Peters (Tiffany), Brittany Fracker (Josh), Paul Peters, Maggie Hernandez, Micah Peters and Greg Doustout (Melanie); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Q Woods, Carolyn Wood (Billy) and Jackie Johnson (Tony). He is also survived by his 29 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home, Mechanicsville Chapel (8014 Lee Davis Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
