It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Nelson Palmore Sr. (Hanover, Virginia), who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas B. Palmore Sr. and Violet Ann Palmore; and his siblings, Thomas B. Palmore Jr., Earl Palmore, Roberta Major, Eugenia Cecil and Frank Palmore.

He is survived by: his children, Donald "Do" Palmore Jr., William Palmore (Kelley) and Gay Nell McFarland (Jay); his grandchildren, Trey Palmore, Tyler Palmore, Zach Edwards, Taylor Koontz, Samantha Thornhill, Seth Stanley, Jalyn McFarland, Morgan Palmore, Madison Palmore and Mallory Palmore; his great grandchildren, James Koontz, Georgia Edwards, Sailor Thornhill and Bentley Stanley; and his siblings, Bobby Palmore, Janet Carson and Francis Hodson.
